| Lovers Lane Sacred Jazz Festival |
| Founded in 1992, the Lovers Lane Jazz Band was one of the first traditional big bands devoted to sacred music. There are now over 17 such bands across the country. It is only fitting that Lovers Lane United Methodist Church should take a leadership role in organizing the first Sacred Jazz Festival on Saturday, April 28, from 11 am to 9:30 pm. |
| This exciting event will feature nearly ten big bands including Denver and the Mile High Orchestra (the only professional sacred jazz band in the country – www.denvermho.com). |
| The Embassy Suites—Love Field is offering reduced festival rates for out-of-town visitors. Additional information can be found at www.sacredjazzfest.org. |
| Your help is needed in this mission project! We are in need of major sponsors to help underwrite the expense of this project. Manpower will also be needed for a variety of duties from parking cars and ushering to selling tickets and food. |
