During May and the first week of June, several projects were completed in an effort to extend a helping hand to the homeless of Dallas.
  • Church members provided a birthday party for children and adults at Family Gateway.
  • The transitional housing dorm of Austin Street Shelter was painted.
  • More than 100 grocery bags filled with snack items were collected for Austin Street shelter.
  • The men’s dorm at Dallas Life Foundation was painted.
On June 6 Everybody’s Picnic was held at Exall Park. It was a beautiful day for people to gather for fun, games, conversation, and to consume 350 hot dogs and snacks. Special thanks to all the church members who shared their time and talents to support this effort.

Lovers Lane outreach volunteers and staff seek to make a positive impact globally and locally as a response to Christ's love.

Through service to others, we both strengthen our faith and reveal the love of Christ to others.

There is some funding available for charitable grants and the deadline for applying for those funds is September 1, 2009 for the 2010 calendar year. To apply for funding for your organization please download the documents below. Both are Microsoft Word Documents . Complete the Grant Application form and return the completed form along with the requested documentation by September 1, 2009.
