What's Happening?
Lovers Lane United Methodist Church, home of the world's largest 12-Step Ministry for 63 years, is launching its newest recovery program - Celebrate Recovery!
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered 12-step program that focuses on the fact that our society is becoming more and more complex with more and more people struggling with hurts, hang-ups and habits such as co-dependency, pornography, chemical dependency, eating disorders, depression, anger and other personal struggles.
What Can you Do?
In order to launch its own Celebrate Recovery ministry in March 2009, Lovers Lane needs your help.
The Celebrate Recovery team is looking for leaders with a personal recovery experience or a real sensitivity to recovery based on a family member’s or close friend’s experience.
Please contact Jackie Coberly, (214-212-4017) or Grant Myers (gmyers@llumc.org, 214-706-9526) if you want to help and believe that Christ did not minister to the faultless, the ideal or the perfect.
A member of the Lovers Lane Celebrate Recovery team will contact you for a totally confidential interview to see what role you might have in this vital, life-changing Lovers Lane ministry.
