Women's Prayer Fellowship
Do you like to laugh, sing, and praise God? Do you enjoy being around Godly women who will love and accept you no matter what life trials you are experiencing? Would you love having a team of prayer warriors praying for and with you? Then Women’s Prayer Fellowship is the place for you. Come and be part of a dynamic group of women who will lift you up and walk with you down this road called “life.”
This spring we will be looking at the fifth chapter of Matthew called the Beatitudes. Join us as we learn, as the disciples did, to live more faithfully as we listen to Jesus’ words and come to understand the statements that turned the usual order of things on its ear. To learn the power of a heart focused on Jesus is our goal as we hear Jesus’ words again and explore their meanings.
Join us in the Parlor in the Christ Family Center on Thursdays, 9:30-11am. You will be blessed and “YOU” will bless us!
About the Women's Prayer Fellowship
This fellowship includes women of all ages who meet once each week to study together, share their personal joys, and offer prayers for others.
The Women's Prayer Fellowship began in the spring of 2003 by the Rev. Donna Whitehead, Executive Pastor of Lovers Lane UMC. Donna began leading a fascinating study series entitled "Searching the Scriptures: A Women's Perspective." As she worked on equipping and discipling the women of the church, these gifted women came forward and now lead the study with great grace, joy, and spiritual depth.
Please join us for fellowship and lively discussion. Women of all ages and denominations are welcome to attend. No reservations are needed, and coffee and scones are provided.
