The Young Adult Ministry at Lovers Lane United Methodist Church is comprised
of folks 18-35(ish), both single and married. Our goals are to
grow in the knowledge and love of God, figure out how to live out the teachings
of Jesus in our world today, to serve humanity, and to grow together as a church
family. All are welcome!
YAM Sunday School Classes—all are welcome, bring a friend!
Sharing the Faith Sunday School—this group meets every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. in CFC 215 (upstairs across from the gym). We meet for doughnuts and Bible study as we look in-depth into God’s Word and make it practical to our lives. Contact Kay DeBlance for more information: kdeblance@llumc.org
Couples in Christ— this group meets every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. in CFC 209 (upstairs across from the gym). This couples class is led by Vann & Gay May who share from their life experiences on how to bring Christ into the middle of your marriage. The WORD - this class meets in Epworth 216 every Sunday morning at 9:30. This class consists predominantly of married couples between the ages of 30 and 40 who have children. The class format is Bible study oriented—the who’s, what’s, when’s and where’s of the Bible—and members are encouraged to commit time during the week for personal study and prayer. This self-directed class is highly dependent upon “active” learning wherein class discussion and participation are paramount. Our class is committed to providing a support system for our members through consistent prayer for each other and by holding each other accountable.
